These Terms - Conditions govern the rental, rent-to-buy, and purchase of fitness and gym equipment from The Rental Guys (Pty) Ltd ("The Rental Guys"). By placing an order through our website you agree to be bound by these Terms.
All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and, where indicated, are inclusive of 15% VAT. Prices are subject to change and to prevailing exchange rates for imported equipment. Placing an order constitutes an offer to rent, rent-to-buy, or purchase, which The Rental Guys may accept or decline.
Payment is accepted via EFT (electronic funds transfer) into one of our official banking accounts, using your invoice number as payment reference. Orders are only confirmed as ACTIVE once your proof of payment has been uploaded to your account and verified by our accounting team. Rent-to-buy contracts are billed monthly for the agreed 12-month term.
Standard rentals and rent-to-buy contracts require a signed Rental Agreement on file before delivery. The signed agreement may be uploaded via your account dashboard. The Rental Guys reserves the right to withhold delivery until a valid signed agreement and verified proof of payment have been received.
Delivery and setup within our standard service areas is free of charge. The client is responsible for using rented equipment in accordance with manufacturer safety guidelines and for providing a suitable, safe location for use and storage. The Rental Guys provides maintenance and repair support for equipment faults arising from normal use.
Under a rent-to-buy contract, ownership of the equipment transfers to the client only after all 12 monthly instalments have been paid in full. Missed or reversed payments may suspend or extend the ownership transfer date.
Standard rental contracts may be cancelled with written notice; any equipment must be returned in good working condition. Rent-to-buy contracts are subject to the agreed contract term. Please contact our support team to discuss cancellations or early terminations.
The Rental Guys shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of rented or purchased equipment. Equipment is provided on an as-is, properly maintained basis and inspected prior to delivery.
